All orders shipped outside the US may have duty or tax fees that your country might charge you when you collect your item. You are responsible for this cost. It is illegal for us to falsify any information on your package, including marking your package as a “gift.”
We accept yarn returns within 14 days of the delivered date. Note that the yarn must be in its original form and packaging. The cost of return shipment is your responsibility unless we made a mistake with your order. A refund will be issued after we receive the yarn back.
We believe in gentle care for our yarns and for the environment. This means we reuse water when possible and conserve water by not excessively rinsing our fibers. Minor color bleeding may occur in the first few washes, which should be done by hand in cold water with a pH neutral soap and then air dried. Keep fibers out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
The variations in nature also translate to colors acquired from natural dyeing. No two skeins will be exactly alike, and even strict dyeing procedures cannot overpower nature and her whims. Be sure to alternate skeins every two rows for even coloring, and purchase all of your necessary fiber at one time to ensure the same dyelot.
All of our fibers are washed, rinsed, and conditioned with gentle soaps formulated especially for wool and fiber dyeing.
Regardless if a yarn is machine washable or not, we recommend hand-washing all of our yarns in cold water with a gentle, pH neutral soap. Lay flat to dry, and keep out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
They type of hook tip depends on the size of crochet hook ordered. For sizes 8mm and smaller we use a hyrbrid hook head (combination of inline and tapered). Sizes 9mm and above use an inline hook head.
The length of crochet hook depends on the size. Our 8mm and smaller crochet hooks are approximately 6.25 inches. Hooks 9mm and larger range from 6.25 inches to 8 inches. Regardless of size, the length can also change based on the selected crown.
Order processing largely depends on the number of crochet hooks ordered, but we average approximately two weeks before your item(s) is shipped. A large order of crochet hooks will take longer - please email us for status updates.
Your BQueen wood crochet hook is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 180 days from the date of purchase. During this time, we will exchange or repair, at our discretion, your crochet hook.
IMPORTANT: Damage caused by accident, misuse, or lack of care are not covered by the warranty.
Services/Repairs Under Warranty: Please email us to confirm the details of your defective crochet hook. To receive a refund/replacement under warranty, the crochet hook must be mailed to us before we can approve the warranty. When mailing your crochet hook, package it safely with padding and mail it to the address provided in our email communications. Shipping fees of a defective crochet hook TO BQueen are not covered, but when we mail your replacement/repaired hook we will cover the costs. Tracking and signature confirmation upon delivery is recommended when mailing your hook.
Services/Repairs NOT Under Warranty: Please email us so we can estimate the charges for replacement or repair. If mailing your hook to us, package your crochet hook safely and mail it to the address provided in our email communications. Please note that replacement crochet hooks will take 2 - 3 weeks to ship.
We appreciate your honesty and support of our small business.
We accept returns - no questions asked - as long as it's within 2 weeks from the delivered date. The hook must be in perfect condition and a refund will be issued upon BQueen receiving the hook, minus the cost of shipping originally paid to send the hook(s). Customer is responsible for return postage.
When traveling or not in use, we strongly recommend keeping your hook in the original box with cotton padding.
Reapplication of any oils or substances for your hook is unnecessary. However if you would like your hook to be rebuffed and sealed at any point, we can do that for you for $5 + shipping. Please email us for more details.
Extreme changes in humidity or temperature can affect the wood and its durability, so take care of your hook to keep it out of direct sunlight for extended periods of time and away from any moisture.
